Baby 20 weeks!

So we had our 20 week ultrasound. The second pic you can see her skull so its a little wierd. But She was moving, and it was fun to see her. They confirmed that she is a girl, and everything is measuring good, and right on. we started shots to help prevent preterm labor and those really hurt. But besides that everything is going good.

Oh and here is the link for my recent show with 9 news on colorado & company.

Baby Cakes Boutique

So we decided to make and sell girls bows and some hats at a christmas thing for Ian's company. So Megan and I made a ton of bows and Carla made hats for kids and adults. We did pretty well, mostly because of the hats, we sold some bows but took a good amount of orders for hats. So we are now making hats for the next few weeks. Carla is trying really hard to be patient as she teaches us. But so far so goood.

Here is the link to our bow blog http://babycb.blogspot.com/

Oh and my sister, Melissa took this pic of Emma, she is so good!

Snow fun and baby!

This is at 12 weeks, they didn't scan very well. But this one was of her heart beat! Nice and strong!
Closer, her head is on the right, and that is her arm at the top. If you are still wondering how we knew it was a girl at day 5, I kinda talk about it in my mormon.org profile. Or We will be on 9 news in a few weeks, its a long story. But I will try to post the link to watch us. I think it will be fun!

1st snow day!

Emma and Daddy building a snowman.

Yes, we did this in our front yard. We will have to go to an actual hill soon.

Yes, Dad like to throw snowballs at Everyone. Ok maybe not this big.

She was just so excited to go out in the snow. She has been wanting snow since June. Its about time!

Halloween!

You got to love Colorado. And you need to always make sure that the costume can fit over a coat! Right before trick or treating!
One she got home, she dumped everything on the bed! Good load this year. She is getting pretty good at it.

Oh candy, and after bed time.

Right before she went out.

I swear she was excited! She loved her pumpkin!

I made her help clean out the inside. This is the face she made when she first touched it! funny.

We had a fun Halloween! She can't wait till next year.

Update

So while my visiting teachers were here last time, Emma decided to take some vasaline and cover herself pretty much head to toe in that awesome stuff. It took almost a week for the grease to wash out of her hair. But hey she was very soft for a while. I had to laugh.

For potty training, we let emma pick out some toys and if she goes #2 then she gets a toy. One of her latest ones she picked out a spiderman puzzle. She was so excited and now she really like to put it together. So this is Ian and her putting it together the first time. She was really proud of herself. I think she will be getting a few puzzles for chirstmas.

Baby girl #2, Nine weeks

Ok so here she is at 9 weeks. Everything looks good today, so they called this my graduation appointment and from here on out I will go to a normal OB-GYN. But she looks great, this is not the best pic, but I could see her spinal cord, and her little nubbin that will be her arms and legs. But she looks good. And the morning sickness is only about 18 hours a day instead of the 24. So hey that is progress. But we are just excited!

Blaines wedding

Blaine and Sara

Mom and Dad!

My sister's and Mom. We look so pretty!

Blaine got married a few weeks ago to an amazing girl named Sara. They were married in the Nauvoo Temple. It was great because we were all able to go. We got babysitters for our kids and had an adult vacation. So much fun. My Parents and my Grandparents were in one Car and the kids in the other (kids refers to Blaine's sisters an hubbies). It was alot of driving but it was so much fun. We did eat some awesome pizza while we were there. And of course we manage to find the Fannies Mae store. But we are just happy that Blaine found such a awesome girl, and we are so glad she is part of our family.

Outside the temple.

Blaine and Sara, with his sisters!

I love this pic of them.

Baby girl #2!

Everything looks really good at our first ultrasound. I am measuring a little small, but that's normal. So great to be at this point. Thanks for the support from our family and friends. 6 weeks down, hopefully 34 more to go. I would be ok with 33!

Camping

We recently went camping with some fam. It was short, but thats how we like to camp. Emma had a blast with her two cousins. She was completely covered in dirt almost the whole time. They played in the river for a little bit. And we ate some yummy food. We had a blast.

River Fun

Even in the water we are still dirty.

Those are feet under the dirt.

And we always like the hammocks.

Oh yes, thats dirt. Nice pose honey!

The Alaskan Fam is in town!

We just had a super fun break or 9 straight days of craziness with Ian's fam. His Dad's Fam visited from Alaska. And since its a pretty expensive trip we tried to cram as much Colorado activities into 9 days as possible. We had a baby shower for Carla, which went great, visited the butterfly museum, ate at Senor Burritos, ate BBQ at Jim & Nicks, visited Estes Park, visited more fam in Colorado springs, played lots of games, and ate a lot of good food.

Just thought this was funny, looking at fish with her cousin.
This baby deer just hung out at Carla's back door the whole day. It was super cute.

Emma's Aunt painted her nails, and took way more time than Emma's mom ever does. They were beautiful, thanks Aunt H!

Emma was all excited to hold Rosie the spider, but backed out as the lady started to put the spider on. Can't say I blame her. But her Cousins did a great job.

Yes, that is a huge spider!

Emma really likes the butterflies, just not when they fly at her. "their gonna get me" But she is getting better at enjoying the whole thing.

Emma ate dinner at Senor Burritos by Grandpa, next thing I know, Grandpa put a tattoo of a panther on her arm and a tattoo of a spider on her forehead. Thanks Grandpa! Oh and baby oil takes temporary tattoos off really well!

Emma kept taking Grandpa's Ribs at dinner. She really liked them. He always made sure she had enough to eat!

This is at Estes Park, we buy peanuts and sunflower seeds to feed to the chipmunks. They are the fattest things, they really gear up for the winter. Its pretty fun.

Our Family 2011, not the best pic of Ian and I, but Emma's is super cute.

The whole Gang on our way to Estes Park. We had such a fun time with His Dad's family. We really miss them. And enjoy our time with them. Thanks Guys for coming down. We had so much fun.

Emma is 3!

My Baby turned 3 years old this past week. While her birthday seemed to last most of the weekend, because of 4th of July. We got to see majority of her cousins. We did a few small things from us on sunday morning, BBQ and fireworks with some of Ian's family. And Monday we had a Dinner and fireworks with my family. Pretty much Emma had fun with her cousins and watching things blow up in front of her.

She got a princess shirt from us. This is her "I am being patient so mom can take a picture" look.
Big Pink Ball. Nice!

Art kit. a mess free one. Well kinda, figures Emma would figure out a way to get around that.

This is the mass chaos that happened after Emma opened her presents from her cousins and Grandparents. The wands were a big hit Grandma!

Emma got a princess dress, crown, wand, and purse from her Grandparents. Pretty much she is so excited she can't believe it. She keeps checking with me to make sure that the dress is hers. Funny. She got some cute things from her cousins, but I may have put them away for a week so she can get excited about them in a few days. Or she hasn't remembered that she still has more. Spread the excitement out a little.

Checking herself out in a mirror. I think she likes it.

We had smores the first night and cupcakes the second night. She really like the happy birthday song, so she sang along.

Pretty much we just had a wonderful weekend. We have a wonderful daughter and we are so blessed to live in this country. It was just a fun weekend with family.
