Emma's 4!

Grandma took Emma to build a bear for her Birthday. She had so much fun picking out all the fun pink girly things. Its a rainbow bear, with a pink shiny dress with fairy wings and a wand. and pink sparkle flip flops. And of course it giggles. Emma named her Alice. So funny. She loves her Grandma so much.
Emma got ribs for our family dinner out for her birthday.
On her actual birthday we were on our family trip in Montana, so we got an ice cream cake, and she was able to wear the crown and wand from the cake.
Emma blowing out the candles with some of her excited cousins.
 She liked the green frosting!
She got some cute presents from her Cousins. She was trilled.
And she got a new bike with pedals from her mom and dad.
Happy Birthday Emma, we love you!

New Baby Girl!

This is me 6 days before
This is when they were cleaning her off right after. I am super out of it. I could barely keep my eyes open.
Being Weighed. She held onto the side as tight as possible.
Up close

Sisters meeting for the first time.

Just checking her out, trying to see whats going on.

Grandma and Grandpa Taylor visiting. They were so wonderful and took Emma for us while we were in the hospital.

Before we left. So pretty!

Getting ready to go, she's a strawberry!

Packed up in her car seat for the first time. Leaving the hospital.

"Ellie"

We are at home now and trying to survive. Ian's been able to take off work and its been wonderful. I lost a little too much blood and so I am still feeling out of it. But slowly getting there. Ellie is doing great and its so fun to finally have her here. We are just enjoying our time together as a family, Emma is doing great and loves her baby sister so much, sometimes a little too much. But we are working on that. I think she is just happy that her Daddy is around. Friends and Family have been great with helping out and we are just trying to remember how to take care of one so small. So Blessed to be at this point.

Easter, Baseball and Baby

Happy Easter! This was our Queen of the Eggs this year. Ian has a game we play with eggs where he pretty much encourages you to hit eggs with another person and if you egg doesn't break then you win! Well not sure what her egg was made out of, but it crushed every other egg. We did a good amount of eggs and she came out on top.
We had a fun time dying eggs.
Yep, fun time.
The whole set up and yes we dyed 18 eggs, it was alot of fun. Emma always enjoys it.
This is our Easter girl on Sunday morning. It was a quick picture because we have earlier church but Emma loved that her dress was pink!
Emma and Daddy went to their first baseball game this season. I didn't want to push it by walking around that much. So it was a daddy daughter date. I told Ian to take lots of pictures. So he took the camera to the game and then brought it back home. And it never left the case. awesome. But it was shorter game. They went to batting practice before, got two balls from the Padres, and Emma threw one back. So they brought only one home. And I guess she feel asleep for a few innings. Then got cold, so they came home a little early. But Emma was so glad she got to go to a Baseball game with her Daddy.
As for me and the baby we are doing well. I am 37 weeks tomorrow and doing well. My body is getting ready for labor already and my Doctor gave me a 50/50 chance of making it to my next weeks appointment. We are excited and Ian is trying to work as much as possible so he can get his work done before he goes on Paternity leave. But for some reason I can totally see him working on his laptop while we are at the hospital. But I am so grateful for a husband that will work that hard. So we are looking forward to this little girl and she could be here at any time or in 3 weeks. Who knows.

Hair cut, and some butterflies

Emma excited about seeing butterflies, and not running from them saying they are going to get me.
We just went to the butterfly pavilion again. Huge improvement from a year ago.
Emma and Daddy
Emma held the spider. And didn't try to kill it. So big improvement.
We got Emma's hair cut. She needed a good haircut and this is the first time that we paid for one.
When they were done, they did her hair and put a bow in it, and sprayed her hair with glitter. She loved it.
We went with her Cousin, cause some things are just more fun with another girl.
She did really well, and we cut almost 4 inches off, she really needed it. I can now comb through her hair so easily. Its wonderful.

Emma is funny!

This is emma one night before bed. She gets a little slap happy, maybe its because she is tired or because her Daddy was home. But I am not totally sure what story it is that she is telling. But she thought it was so funny.

Let it snow, and snow, and snow!

Emma started by building a sand castle out of snow. While her Daddy shoveled the drive way. This was a long and steady storm so Ian Shoveled like 5 different times in two days. Fun stuff.
Daddy made a cave in one of the drifts of snow in our front yard.

Its pretty good size. At least when you are the size of Emma.

Dad thought this would be fun to do with emma. But here is Dad working hard and emma is gone, playing with a neighbor girl on one of the other drifts in our yard. Can't say I blame her. So this is Emma and Dad playing in the snow together.

This was at the end of the first day. Emma was pretty excited that Dad this for her. The next day they turned it into a tunnel. So now that will never melt and we will have a nice arch in our front yard for a few months!

Christmas Vacation

The hill is pretty big, so Dad carried her on most of the trips
We had alot of snow, and Emma loved sledding.

Dad and Emma went.

She just likes the snow.

Waiting upstairs on Chrismas morning.

Santa was able to stop by, cause Emmas Aunt kinda knew Santa. So He was able to stop by on Christmas eve. Cause he has nothing else to do.

Yes, out of order, but Emma put out some cookies & milk for Santa. And a carrot for the raindeer. She is also in Her Christmas PJs, that is something special santa does for our family on christmas eve. So she got hot chocolate PJs. She likes them cause they are pink.
