Colorado!

So yes, we haven't updated our blog in a while. But most people know that we are now in Denver! We are kinda in between places right now. And my parents are wonderful enough to put up with us for just over a month. Or I guess just under two months. Either way we are greatful that we have a place to stay until we can move into our rental house. So Ian doesn't start work until July so we have been having fun. So here are some pictures from the Zoo. We went with Megan's wonderful family and of course wonderful Aunt Carla Came too. So here are those pictures.

This guy was right by the glass and was just sitting there. Kinda of cool. But he seemed alot bigger than that.
The stroller caravan! These are my wonderful nephews or just Emma's fun friend.Emma liked these! I think they were wild pigs.

My Nephew feeding the birds. Here you are allowed to feed them.

Emma feeding the birds. Its a pretty neat place. You buy nectar in these cups and then you go inside this building or cage. And the birds eat out of the cups. Pretty neat.
Avon
So this last week we headed up to Avon, its about ten minutes outside of Vail. We stayed in a nice hotel just off the highway in Avon. Megan and Marty came with us and we had a blast. They were able to take off work at the last minute so we are grateful that they did that. We spent most of time playing games and eating. But it was fun. We rented bikes and rode along the river. The water levels were at a all time high so here is a pic where the river washed away a walk way. So we didn't go rafting because of the water levels and because the water was freezing! My sister Emily watched Emma for us for the whole week. So it was nice to get away even if it was only two hours away. We had a blast and ate some amazing food. We did miss our little girl an we are glad to be back!

Hi, I'm Erin said...

Fun! Good luck with the new job & everything! Chris is coming to Colorado soon for a business trip & I am going to tag along for a little get-away. I'm not sure where it is yet, but I'm hoping it's close to Denver! Emma is getting so big!
